- Care inquiries: your name and phone number, and optionally your email, city, preferred callback time, who care is for and a short description of the help you need.
- Clients and families: contact details, service address, care plan and schedule information, and billing details needed to provide and invoice services.
- Caregivers and applicants: contact details, employment application, work history, training records, schedules, timesheets and the employment documents required by law.
- Website and technical data: our servers record basic information such as your IP address, browser type and pages requested, for security and to keep the site working.

Text messages (SMS)
If you agree to receive text messages, we use your mobile number to send messages about your inquiry, care, appointments, scheduling, shifts or employment application, as described in our SMS Terms. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of receiving care or of employment.
We do not sell, rent or share mobile phone numbers or text message opt-in data and consent with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information will not be shared with any third parties for their own use. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share information only:
- With the caregivers, clients and family contacts involved in a client's care, as needed to provide that care
- With service providers that help us run the business, such as web and email hosting, payroll, accounting, text messaging and secure software tools, including AI tools that help our staff answer questions and draft messages. These providers may use the information only to provide services to us. The text messaging restrictions above always apply.
- When required by law, for example mandated reports of suspected abuse, licensing inspections, subpoenas or court orders, or to protect someone's health or safety
- With a successor organization if the business is sold or merged, subject to this policy
How we protect information
We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections, access limited to staff who need it, and encryption of sensitive records at rest. No system is perfectly secure, so please contact us right away if you believe your information has been misused.
How long we keep information
We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above and as required by law. For example, California requires us to keep certain personnel and training records for at least three years after employment ends.
